- Acupuncture will decrease inflammation, relax your muscles and central nervous system, release endorphins for pain control, reduce your stress response and increase circulation.
- Yoga sessions will reinforce stress reduction through breath and mindful exercises. You will learn specific postures to support restful sleep, stretch achy muscles and quiet your mind.
- Nutritional counseling will help you to eliminate problem causing foods, identify nutritional deficiencies, maintain an anti-inflammatory diet, and to lose weight to decrease stress on your back and joints.
- Psychotherapy will help you to identify the underlying source of your pain related fear and anxiety, learn coping skills, control your stress response and to practice a positive thought process.
